There are plenty of places on the web where you can find the top ten books from someone’s best seller list or the newest winner of a famous award. You can get in-depth and lengthy reviews and excellent analysis of the writing craft.

We just want to know if it’s a good read.

           Will it make me sit on the edge of my seat, or scare the crap out of me? Will I have to turn pages into the wee hours and have go to work bleary eyed. Will I cry buckets of tears or look over my shoulder to see if anyone is there? Is it a good book? Can I sit by the fire on a cold winter’s night and be taken away to another place and another time?

 We would like to do some of the following:

              Tell you which books we like and in a few sentences why we like them.

            Hopefully, get you to tell us which books you like and why you enjoyed reading them.

            Put these personal enjoyments into categories that make it easy for you to find a story that fits your moods  and tastes.

            Focus on writers that you might not have known were out there waiting to be your next favorite. 

            Have some fun writing and reading about books.
