“Diary of a Wimpy Kid” by Jeff Kinney

   Posted by: Erica

Greg has a “Diary” and he talks about all his adventures like the cheese touch.

Halloween is coming and Greg doesn’t have a costume and he goes to a haunted house with his best friend Rowley.  They try to make the biggest snowman ever but his plan doesn’t work because he kicks his little brother’s snowman down so his dad comes out and destroys his huge snowball.  I love this book because it helps make me happy when I’m sad and you should try it too.

“Sassy” by Sharon M. Draper.

Sassy is a nine year old girl with two siblings.  Her family is always calling her “littie sister” and Sassy hates that.  When her family gets in trouble, Sassy is the one who saves the day.  It is a really good book.  I would recommend this book for 3rd and 4th grades.  Sassy is 13 chapters and 102 pages in length.  I didn’t want to put it down!  I am sure your kids will enjoy reading it just as much as I did.
